Cookie & Local Storage Policy
How Abygram uses essential tokens, local storage, and security cookies.
1. What Are Cookies & Local Tokens?
Cookies and local device storage are small cryptographic tokens or configuration entries stored on your browser or mobile device to keep you securely signed in, remember your interface preferences, and protect you against cross-site and automated attacks.
2. Essential Security & Authentication Tokens
Abygram uses strictly necessary tokens to operate the Platform securely:
- Firebase Authentication Tokens: Securely maintain your authenticated session so you do not have to re-enter your password on every launch.
- Firebase App Check Attestation: Verifies that requests originate from an authentic Abygram app instance.
- Cloudflare Security Cookies (CF_Authorization / __cf_bm): Protect our web portals and APIs against DDoS attacks, bot traffic, and unauthorized access.
3. Preference & Performance Caching
We use bounded local storage on your device to remember your dark/light theme preference, language setting, muted video state, and media cache so feeds and stories load instantaneously at 60/120fps.
4. No Cross-Site Tracking Cookies
Abygram does not embed third-party behavioral advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels on our web pages or mobile application. You can clear cached data at any time from Settings → Storage & Cache inside the Abygram app.
